Hello, and welcome to my website!

My name is Patrick Macdonald and I am a VFX pipeline TD and Shotgun specialist.

I provide pipeline support and advice to studios large and small, helping to eliminate bottle-necks and to streamline workflows.
Having worked throughout the VFX pipeline over the years as a generalist and lighter, I have in-depth knowledge of the challenges and
frustrations that a successful pipeline can solve.

Over 15 years experience working with clients direct and in-house with vfx studios and advertising agencies.

Art Direction

Design, direction and delivery of a number of projects to clients in TV, advertising, film and construction.

Lighting & Rendering TD

Working in-house to delivery photoreal CG within large and small teams, solving production problems fast, and ensuring projects are delivered on time.

Generalist / producer / director

From my time as a freelance artist producing complete animated sequences for various tv and advertising clients, I have experience of all stages of production, from inception and bidding through to delivery.
