Mission Control for 3ds Max : Viewing materials and texture-maps

Mission Control offers a convenient way to view and edit materials and texture-maps in your scene without having to open up either the Slate or Compact Material Editors.

It also allows you to quickly select objects that reference any material or texture-map with a simple click.

Material parameters can be tweaked easily by MMB click and dragging over selected cells.

Values can be copied and pasted between materials/maps, as copies or as instanced controllers.
